Medical Management One is a healthcare administration firm directed by a medical doctor, an attorney, and a team of certified coders. MM1 offers well-founded solutions to the billing, contracting, credentialing, and management concerns specific to your practice. Knowledgeable of both quality clinical care and comprehensive healthcare management systems, Dr. LoCicero and Mr. Galantino provide proven administrative strategies to their medical billing clients.

MM1 offers a department of certified coders and billing associates to manage, review, and process your accounts receivable payments. With an emphasis on careful, exact coding and prompt data entry and submission, MM1 keeps your accounts receivable up-to-date, as well as maximizes the payments you receive for services.

Meet the Team

Nicholas Galantino, J.D.
Administration

Nicholas Galantino, J.D. received his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of South Florida. He attended Stetson University College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 1983. Mr. Galantino is an active member of the Florida Bar. He has taught Healthcare Law as an Adjunct Professor at St. Leo University and lectured on current health care topics. Mr. Galantino has expertise in managed care, contracts, group practice management, real estate acquisition, billing and collection/accounts receivable management and personnel. Additionally, he is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders.

Karon R. LoCicero, M.D.
Medical Director

Karon R. LoCicero, M.D. has twenty years of clinical experience in a managed care environment. She has successfully implemented Electronic Health Records (EHR) and acted as Medical Director in her private internal medicine and weight management practice. Over her twenty years in private practice, Dr. LoCicero has developed practical solutions to ensure accurate medical record documentation, as well as appropriate documentation to maximize medical billing.

Dr. LoCicero graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Duke University, where she completed her pre-medical studies and earned a bachelor of arts degree in Cultural Anthropology. She received her medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and completed her internship and residency program in Internal Medicine at the Univeristy of South Florida Affiliated Hospitals (Tampa General, James A. Haley V.A. Hospital, and H. Lee Moffit Cancer Center.) Additionally, she is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Diplomate American Board of Bariatric Medicine and is a member of the American Obesity Association and the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.
